I build full-stack web applications and high-performance backend systems with Go & React, and spend the rest of my time deep in Bitcoin & Lightning protocol work as a Btrust Builder; reading BIPs, shipping to open-source wallets and explorers, and writing about how it all works.
I'm a software developer with 6+ years of experience building payment, media, and real-time systems in Go; from fintech and events platforms to cybersecurity tooling and products for growing teams. Somewhere along the way I fell in love with Bitcoin, and it stuck.
Since 2024 I've been a Btrust Builder, contributing to open-source Bitcoin projects like Zeus LN, btcd, and Fedimint's clientd, and building a Bitcoin network explorer from scratch. I write about protocol internals (hash functions, HD wallets, mining) on Medium, partly to teach, mostly to make sure I actually understand what I'm shipping.
I'm building Ipilẹ Labs, a Bitcoin & Lightning startup aimed at both everyday users and businesses across Africa, while continuing to learn and grow as a Bitcoin protocol contributor.
As a Btrust Builder, I've also spent about two years teaching cohorts through Mastering Bitcoin, Rust for Bitcoiners, and Learning Bitcoin from the Command Line; helping newer builders find their footing in the ecosystem.
Tracks real-time Bitcoin network activity, including transactions, block confirmations, mempool size, hash rate, mining difficulty, and peer connectivity, with a searchable transaction/address/block history.
Integrated the Nostr protocol into Clooza to enable Lightning zaps, alongside broader work on Bitcoin Lightning payments, real-time WebSocket notifications, and FFmpeg-based media processing across the platform.
